Equineistic NT primarily offers ground-based experiences. Through interacting with horses from the ground, participants have opportunities to build relationships, develop understanding, strengthen communication skills, and engage in meaningful learning alongside horses.
Many people are surprised to discover that some of the most powerful experiences with horses happen on the ground. Our focus is on connection, relationship, and learning rather than riding.
In some circumstances, riding or a led mounted experience may be considered for long-term participants on a case-by-case basis. This is subject to horse suitability, participant experience, height and weight considerations, and the participant demonstrating safe, respectful, and compassionate interactions with the horses.
The welfare and wellbeing of our horses always remain a priority in any decision regarding mounted activities.
